mOve Lab - Automation and Control for Intelligent Vehicles and Smart Mobility
Activities
mOve carries out its research, innovation and technology transfer activities at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria in the areas of automotive controls, intelligent vehicles and smart mobility.
The main experimental activities of the lab include the design and study of:
- Advanced Vehicle Dynamics Control and Estimation Systems (Electronic Stability Control, Antilocking Braking Systems, Traction Control, Semi-active Suspension Control)
- Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (Lane Keeping, Automatic Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control)
- Electric Mobility Vehicles (Electric Vehicle, Hybrid Powertrain System Control)
- Human-Electric Hybrid Vehicles (Control of Electric Assist Bicycles, Energy Management)
- Li-ion Battery Management Systems (State of Charge Estimation, Core Temperature Estimation, State of Health Estimation and Optimization)
- Autonomous and Self-Driving Vehicles (Path Planning, Path Tracking, Mapping and Localization).
Service information
The lab is situated at the ground floor of the building 7 of the Department (Piazza Leonardo da Vinci n. 32). Laboratories are open during the normal department opening hours.
