Foreign students
The Department is a hub of international relations in research, teaching, and technology transfer.
DEIB is active in numerous networks contributing to joint teaching programs with prestigious international institutions and to international consortia for the implementation of research projects.
Students have the opportunity to study in an international environment, attending Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to M.Sc.) courses and getting in touch with colleagues from different countries. Foreign students come from European countries, but also from Asia, Africa and the Middle East. After graduating in other countries, international students decide to study at the Politecnico di Milano, attracted by the quality of the Laurea Magistrale Programs that are taught entirely in English both in the “Milano Leonardo” and in the other ones. In these international programs, both Italian and foreign students can improve their qualification by acquiring a solid knowledge of English, an essential requirement for succeeding in their career. They meet different cultures and lifestyles, and they learn to embrace pluralism thanks to the many social activities that are organized in the Campuses.
