The FES cycling is a commercial device in which the RehaStim Stimulator is directly connected to an ergometer (MotoMed Viva 2 , Reck) in order to generate stimulation currents synchronous to the cycling movement. The stimulator can simultaneously stimulate 8 different channels generally connected to the following muscle groups of the lower limbs: quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteus maximum, and tibialis anterior of both legs.
