Abstract
On October 2nd, 2024 at 2.00 pm the seminar "Commenting the first edition of the spring school: Computational Social Sciences - Challenges and Opportunities" will take place at DEIB Alario Room (Building 21).
In May 2024, the first edition of the Computational Social Sciences: Challenges and Opportunities took place by the serene shores of Lake Como.
With the presence of several important personalities we explored topics such as network analysis, epidemiology and Natural Language Processing with the relative applications to real-world social phenomena.
In this seminar, we will share insights from the spring school, reflect on the impact of computational methods on social sciences, and outline future directions that emerged for research in this field.
