Abstract

On October 6th, 2023 at 11.30 am, in the framework of the Neuroengineering course, Dr. Alessandro Maserati will hold a seminar on "Large Language Model (LLM) in the domain of Artificial Intelligence: Evidences and Challenges for the Biomedical Domain" in 25.S.1 Room (Building 25).

What are LLMs and how do they work? Why do they appear to be so much more powerful than all previous AI engines? What are their limitations, and how can we maximize their usage? To address these questions and to prepare ourselves for a rapidly evolving and complete disrupted work environment, an overview of the main achieved results, the primary techniques employed, and the most astonishing applications in the field of Artificial Intelligence will be provided.

He has also overseen business integration processes, paying particular attention to the impact on change management. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading university institutes and R&D departments of top-tier companies, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
