Abstract
On September 15th, 2022 at 11.00 am SeyedMohammad SeyedinNavadeh, DEIB PhD Student, will hold a seminar on "Optical Linear Processing using Programmable Photonic Integrated Circuits" in DEIB PT1 Room.
With the recent advances in photonic ICs, large-scale integration of complex photonic circuits is made possible. These circuits can be programmed to implement functionalities such as linear optical transformations, which are essential operations in classical and quantum information processing. In this seminar, we briefly review different building blocks and architectures proposed for these circuits as well as emerging applications of the technology.
This seminar is based on the talks given at ePIXfab 2022 summer school.
