Activities
At the TBM Lab - Laboratory of Biomedical Technologies, divided into four different laboratories, innovative methods and technologies are developed for improvement of knowledge and applications in different biomedical fields and healthcare problems. Laboratories are as follows:
- Cart - Computer Aided RadioTherapy The CART Laboratory is focused on the tumor treatment in radiation therapy and surgery. The main activities of the laboratory are the planning and monitoring of the tumor treatment either in radiotherapy and particle therapy or in surgical interventions. Responsible: Guido Baroni, guido.baroni@polimi.it.
- LaRes - Respiratory Analysis Lab LaRes research is in the field of the bioengineering of the respiratory system Lares mission is to create new knowledge and innovation in respiratory medicine through the development of new methods, models and technologies for the analysis, functional evaluation and treatment. Responsible: Andrea Aliverti, andrea.aliverti@polimi.it.
- MBMC - Movement Biomechanics and Motor Control The MBMC Lab focuses on biomechanics and the analysis of human movement. Our activities include developing and applying new methodologies for quantifying human movement as well as their application for clinical assessment, surgical planning, virtual simulation and ergonomic design. Responsible: Carlo Albino Frigo, carlo.frigo@polimi.it.
- TechRes - Laboratory of Respiration Technologies TechRes Lab develops innovative engineering solutions for respiration. TechRes Lab designs and develops methods, models and innovative engineering applications for the study of respiration and the pathologies of the respiratory system. Responsible: Raffaele Dellacà, raffaele.dellaca@polimi.it.
Service information
