Roberto Battiston, President of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), has appointed Claudio Prati as a member of the Advisory Committee for the COSMI-SkyMed missions of first and second generation.
COSMO-SkyMed is a sophisticated system that 'observes' the entire terrestrial globe, providing information that can be used for different applications, thanks to the high resolution of the images produced every day, around 1800, the very short "revisited" times of the detected places and the rapidity with which the data are made available to the different types of users.
