AS.CAR.I

AS.CAR.I has its roots in the renowned research group of advanced vehicle systems control of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, Politecnico di Milano. Its aim is to develop an advanced car intelligence able to drive any sport car in the hardest conditions.
AS.CAR.I technology enhances high performance driving experience by providing on-track assistance to optimally control the car up to its limits.
AS.CAR.I technology enhances high performance driving experience by providing on-track assistance to optimally control the car up to its limits.
- Advanced telemetry unlocks enhanced on-vehicle data collection and visualization, giving the driver a deep understanding of its racing performance on track. High-quality vehicle dynamics indicators and centimeter-precision trajectory analysis show how close the car is to the handling limit and where and how to improve lap time.
- By controlling the vehicle near its handling limit, assisted performance drive redefines the concept of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This breakthrough technology unlocks a range of unprecedented applications in which autonomous intelligence assists the human driver in enhancing performance while prioritizing safety.
- AS.CAR.I’s technology combines data from multiple on-board sensors to achieve centimeter-level vehicle positioning on track. By processing and merging data from GNSS, cameras, and LiDAR, proprietary sensors fusion algorithms ensure a robust and highly accurate positioning solution even in challenging driving conditions.
- AS.CAR.I’s intelligence monitors track condition in real-time to push high performance driving. On board proprioceptive and exteroceptive sensors are leveraged to explore drivable surfaces and grip level.
- AS.CAR.I combines expertise in vehicle control at the handling limit, prediction and perception tasks, and new ways of interaction between humans and AI drivers. This technology enables enhanced driver assistance in critical and emergency scenarios, improving safety on track and open roads.
