Smart Robots s.r.l. is a startup born on October 2016 as a spin-off from Politecnico di Milano. It began from the study and research experience of a team of engineers and it aims to be the ideal partner for companies that want to introduce advanced collaborative robotics as part of Industry 4.0 systems. Smart Robots is owned by e-Novia, a company that creates, develops and launches high-tech startups.
Smart Robots main product is a hardware and software device that can be easily deployed close to a robot station and connected in a plug&play fashion. By exploiting combined use of advanced sensors, the product enables human tracking and environment perception. The device implements different layers of artificial intelligence methods capable of taking data-driven decisions through patented algorithms. The combined use of voice commands, gesture and human intention recognition allow new forms of interaction.
