Horizon 2020
DEIB Role: Coordinator
Start date: 2015-12-01
Length: 36 months
Project abstract
City4Age is a European project partially funded by the European Commission under the program Horizon 2020. City4Age deals with the detection – through unobtrusive technologies – of signs of Frailty and Mild Cognitive Impairments in the elderly and with the intervention, through communication technologies, to help preventing and possibly delaying these issues.
It involves 16 partners from around Europe and will be tested in 6 pilot cities: Athens, Birmingham, Lecce, Madrid, Montpellier and Singapore.
DEIB researchers coordinate the project; furthermore, they are in charge of the WP on “intervention”, in which a communication engine is implemented to support highly personalize communication via technologies to persuade elderly people to adopt a healthier life-style.
