Prof. BERTULESSI LUCA
Associate professor
Luca Bertulessi was born in 1991 in Bergamo, Italy. He received the M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Information Technology (cum laude) from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2015 and 2020, respectively. His research activity during the Ph.D. at the Analog Integrated Circuit Design Laboratory - ARPLab (DEIB) was the design of high efficiency oscillator and digitally-intensive fractional-N PLL frequency synthesizer in CMOS technology for 5G wireless application. From 2020 to 2024 he was assistant professor at the Politecnico di Milano, working on the development of new Analog-to-Digital converter architectures for wireless baseband applications.
Since November 2024, he is associate professor at Politecnico di Milano.
He teaches the course “Introduction to Electronics” for the Bachelor of Science in Engineering of Computing Systems, since 2021. He was the lecturer of the PhD course “Design of integrated circuits: from schematic to physical implementation”.
Since 2023 he is a member of the TPC of the ESSCIRC/ESSERC in the track "Frequency Generation Circuits”. His current research interests include mm-wave oscillators, digitally-intensive fractional-N frequency synthesizers, and high speed Analog-to-Digital converters for baseband wireless application.
