Born in 1971, graduated at the Politecnico di Milano in Telecommunications Engineering (cum laude) in 1996. In 1997 he started his PhD program at the Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione, where he received his title in 2000. In 2001 he joined the National Research Council group on Space Communications (CSTS) as a research associate. His research interests concern digital transmission system, mainly in channel coding and modulation.
