Sergio Toscani received the M.Sc. and the Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, in 2007 and 2011 respectively.
Since 2011 he is Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronic Measurements with the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria of the same University.
His activity is focused on the characterization of electrical systems, components and materials.
The research interests include: characterization of voltage and current transducers; innovative diagnostic techniques for electrical machines and fuel cells; monitoring of photovoltaic systems. He is in the technical program committee of international conferences in the field of electrical measurements, and reviewer of the journal IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
