His research activity primarily focuses on the characterization of electrical devices and measurements in power systems. His main research interests include the development and characterization of voltage and current transducers, advanced digital signal processing techniques for power system measurements, diagnostic methods for electrical devices, and the monitoring of photovoltaic systems.
He serves as Technical Program Co-Chair of the IEEE Workshop on Applied Measurements for Power Systems and he is member of the Technical Committee TC39 - Measurements in Power Systems of the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society. He has been Guest Editor for several Special Sections published in leading journals in the field of electrical measurements and is member of the Editorial Board of the journal MDPI Applied Sciences.
