Prof. PILATO CHRISTIAN
Associate professor
Christian Pilato is an Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano. He received the Laurea degree in Computer Engineering (2007) and the Ph.D. degree in Information Technology (2011) from Politecnico di Milano. He was a Post-doc Research Scientist at Columbia University (2013-2016), and at the ALaRI Institute of the Università della Svizzera italiana (2016-2018). In addition, he was Visiting Researcher at New York University (Sept. 2017-May 2018) and Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Milano (Jun 2018-Mar 2023).
His research interests include high-level synthesis, reconfigurable systems and system-on-chip architectures, with emphasis on memory and security aspects. Dr. Pilato served as program chair of EUC 2014, ICCD 2022, ICCD 2023, and SAMOS 2023, and he is currently involved in the program committees of many conferences on embedded systems, CAD, and reconfigurable architectures (e.g., DAC, DATE, CASES, FPL, ICCD). He is Senior Member of IEEE and ACM, and a member of HiPEAC.
