Prof. ANTICHI GIANNI

Gianni Antichi is an associate professor at Politecnico Milano (IT) and senior lecturer at Queen Mary University of London (UK). Previously, he was a senior research associate at University of Cambridge (UK), post-doctoral researcher at University of Pisa (IT) and visiting researcher at Stanford University (US). He completed his PhD at the University of Pisa in 2011. His research interests cover a broad spectrum of topics in both networks and systems: network monitoring, data plane offloading, end host networking and Software Defined Networking. Gianni's research has been awarded with the best paper at ACM SIGCOMM 2017, the EPSRC New Investigator, the Facebook Networking Systems Research RFP 2020, the ACM SIGCOMM 2020 Student Research competition with Sebastiano Miano and the ACM CoNEXT best poster 2021.
