He earned his Bachelor’s degree (2017) and Engineering degree (2019) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from ULPGL/Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He then obtained a Laurea Magistrale (MSc) in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (2021), where his master's thesis focused on event-based computer vision for traffic monitoring. In March 2026, he successfully completed and defended his PhD in Information Technology at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Danilo Ardagna. His doctoral research focused on partitioning and managing AI algorithms over resource-constrained edge-cloud computing continua, such as smart eyewear networks.
During his PhD, he was actively involved in the Luxottica project for smart eyewear development. His research focused on optimizing application execution across the full computing continuum, including the smart eyewear, edge servers (potentially in 5G networks), and the cloud back-end. His work successfully guaranteed application execution times while balancing eyewear battery levels, active application loads, and network latency.
