Andrea Farabbi received his PhD in 2024 from Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis focused on Error Potential recognition and analysis, exploring the interplay between error awareness and attention training. He is currently an Assistant Professor (RTDa) at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB), Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on biomedical signal processing and its applications to wearable systems, with a particular emphasis on EEG signal analysis and classification using advanced signal processing techniques and artificial intelligence. His work addresses both foundational aspects of neurophysiological signal interpretation and applied challenges in brain–computer interfaces (BCIs) and emotion recognition through multimodal approaches.
