The electroencephalograph is an instrument capable of recording the electrical potentials of cerebral cortex neurons using electrodes applied to the scalp. The Micromed Brain Quick SD LTM 64 Express system allows to record electroencephalographic (EEG) signals and has the following features:

• Availability of pre-wired headphones to speed up the assembly process
• 16-bit ADC
• Sampling frequency between 128 to 2048 Hz/channel
• Mains or battery powered
• Ability to acquire signals on the go (with recording on internal SD card or wireless data transmission, via Bluetooth) or on PC (via USB interface)
• System Plus Evolution Software; possibility of integration with EEGLAB software through a specific plugin.
