The paper ‘Reachability Analysis of Controlled Discrete-Time Stochastic Hybrid Systems,’ co-authored by Prof. Maria Prandini from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, Politecnico di Milano, received the HSCC 2024 Test of Time Award. The paper was included in the volume ‘Hybrid Systems: Computation and Control,’ published by Springer in 2006, which collects the proceedings of the international HSCC conference held that year in Santa Barbara, California.

The award was given recognize the work, published at a HSCC conference in 2013 or before, which has proven to be the most visionary and impactful, leading to new directions of research being initiated, or new applications being brought into the hybrid systems research community.
