Jessica Leoni, a researcher from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano and Ph.D. in Data Analytics and Decision Sciences, has won the IEEE ITS Italian Chapter’s Best PhD Dissertation Award. The award was given to her for her Ph.D. dissertation titled A Machine Learning-Based Framework for Automatic and Interpretable Health and Usage Monitoring of Safety-Critical Air and Ground Vehicles.
