Abstract
"Smart Nature Ecosystems: interactive devices and their participatory design to experience nature" by Maristella Matera and Rosella Gennari (University of Bolzano) is the title of the presentation presented as part of the World Usability Day of Turin whose theme "Technology for the planet" focused on the seventeen UN goals for sustainable development. The event, organized by the Computer Science Department with the support of the human-computer interaction SmartHCI laboratory of the ICxT Interdepartmental Center of the University of Turin, saw the participation of professionals, researchers and students from different disciplines including web and interaction designers, ergonomists , psychologists, human-computer interaction (HCI) experts and human factors, storytellers, graphic designers, developers, communication and education experts.
