
The Politecnico di Milano announces a public call for cascade funding under the FAIR - Future Artificial Intelligence Research program, funded by the European Union through Next Generation EU with NRRP funds.
The call is aimed at micro, small, medium and large companies and provides a total budget of €875,976.79, distributed according to the following themes:
- Reinforcement learning for economic transactions | 92.750,48 €
- Fine tunings of LLMs in practical applications | 164.889,75 €
- Study of AI applications in health | 278.251,45 €
- Development of AI technologies for health | 82.444,87 €
- Study of AI applications in multimodal interaction | 92.750,48 €
- Development of AI technologies in multimodal interaction | 164.889,75 €
Eligible are industrial research projects, experimental development projects and feasibility studies submitted by companies individually or in collaboration regarding the above-mentioned topics.
The deadline is May 27, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
FAIR’s main purpose is to implement interventions funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) and any subsequent funding in the field of Artificial Intelligence. FAIR aims to place Italy among the top countries for the development of the next generation of AI theories and technologies for sensory data interpretation, visual and language-based human-machine interaction, efficient learning strategies with big and small data, new methods of reasoning, inference and planning, neuroscience-based machine learning, new techniques for self-ML and self-programming machines, and new models that hybridize learning and knowledge-based methods.
