
Prof. Maristella Matera from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, Politecnico di Milano is on the list of women helping to develop, teach and disseminate artificial intelligence in Italy compiled by Italian Tech and recently published in an article in la Repubblica.
Maristella Matera teaches Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering, Politecnico di Milano, where she also coordinates the HINT (Human-Centric Interactive Technologies) lab. Her research and teaching efforts focus on human-centered technologies and explore in particular the potential of AI in promoting the inclusiveness of digital technologies. The results of her research have been disseminated through conferences and prestigious scientific journals and have recently received the Award for Inclusion Research from Google for impact and innovation.
