An agreement was signed between the Politecnico di Milano, a leading technical-scientific university in the training of engineers, architects and designers and increasingly committed to Research and Technology Transfer, NTT DATA, a Japanese multinational leader in consulting and in the IT sector. , and POLIDesign, a reality for post-graduate training which plays a hinge role between universities, institutions, businesses and work.
The five-year agreement will give life to research and training projects on some key issues for the future, such as: Cybersecurity, Smart Mobility, Data Analytics, Technology Tools for Diversity and Inclusion Product / Service Design, Blockchain.
The key objective of the collaboration is to enable, thanks to innovative technological and design tools, a cultural transformation that places the individual at the center and is based on the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.
The Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) has been actively involved in the partnership since the beginning, to collaborate in the development of the technological fields described above, which are completely in line with the research topics on which the DEIB has been successfully working from different years.
Mara Tanelli, Full Professor of Automatics at the DEIB will be the representative of the Politecnico di Milano within the Management Committee of the agreement, together with Francesco Zurlo, vice-director of Poli.design, and Pietro Scarpino, Vice President, Head of IoT, AI and VR by NTT-Data Italia.
