Silvia Strada, Systems and Control Assistant Professor at DEIB, was invited to participate in the event "ITALY 2019: the digital agenda of the country".
During the event, organized by Corriere della Sera (one of the main Italian newspapers), six thematic tables were set up to investigate needs and changes in a delicate moment of economic and industrial transition.
Silvia Strada participated in the "Dual Technologies" session, one of the themes chosen by Corriere Innovazione with the scientific advice of the Bip Group - Business Integration Partners.
Dual Technologies are today of extreme relevance. They are technologies that can have both civil and military applications. It is therefore possible to use the same technology to meet different needs (defense of the state, security of citizens from a wide range of risks and applications that may also have nothing to do with security).
The other thematic tables covered: Circular Economy, Flexible Energy, Talents and Sustainability, Industry 4.0, Interconnections and Dual Technologies.
The detailed program of the event is available in attach.
