
Prof. Matteo Matteucci from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering – Politecnico di Milano has been elected to the Board of Directors of I-RIM, the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines.
I-RIM (Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines) is a non-profit association that aims to promote the development and application of robotic and intelligent machine technologies, with the goal of improving quality of life, citizens’ well-being, and, more broadly, societal conditions. The Institute supports the creation of new solutions for assisting people, enhancing working conditions, transferring technology, boosting the economic value of research, fostering sustainability, and innovating production processes.
Established to represent its members and stakeholders at the national level, I-RIM acts as a key interlocutor with public institutions on matters related to robotics and intelligent machines.
Professor Matteucci’s election is a further recognition of the scientific and technological excellence of Politecnico di Milano in the fields of robotics and artificial intelligence, strengthening its leading role in promoting innovation both nationally and internationally.
