Prof. Renato Casagrandi of the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering of the Politecnico di Milano participated as a speaker at the national conference “Educating for Sustainability in Universities. From Individual Actions to Network Policies”, held in Bari on October 7, 2022.
As coordinator of the Lesson Zero Subgroup, Prof. Casagrandi gave a speech titled "The Teaching of Sustainability as a Transdisciplinary Path: An International Overview".
The event aimed to promote and strengthen the dialogue between institutions and actors that have a decisive and irreplaceable role in the processes of education for sustainable development, in order to help build, around and through the issues of sustainability, the increasingly necessary and urgent integrated educational system and educating community.
The conference, organized by the Network of Universities for Sustainable Development (RUS), took place as part of the Sustainable Development 2022 Festival and was promoted by the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS) with the patronage of the Ministry of Ecological Transition (MiTE), the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI).
