During the general assembly of the euRobotics association, held on Wednesday 16 June 2021, Prof. Paolo Rocco was elected to the Board of Directors – of which he had already been a member from 2017 to 2020 – for the three-year period 2021-2024.
The euRobotics association has about 250 members including universities, research centers and companies. Of the 24 members of the Board of Directors, 12 from the research area and 12 from the industry area, Prof. Rocco will be the only representative of an Italian institution.
Within Horizon 2020, euRobotics was a private part of the Public-Private Partnership on Robotics, while in Horizon Europe it will be – together with BDVA, Ellis, Claire and EurAI – a strategic partner of the new ADRA association, private part of the new Public-Private Partnership on AI Data Robotics.
