Team Italy, Cyberdefender National Team, took the podium in the last edition of European IT Security Championships, held in Bucharest between 9 and 11 October, earning second place. Promoted by the European Commission and the European Security Agency information networks (Enisa), twenty teams from all over Europe competed against each other, who had to prove their defensive and offensive abilities in the realm of systems computer. POLIMI organizes one of the eight classes from which the team members are selected, and the coach this year is our young post-doc Mario Polino. The team is in Abu Dhabi for the Emirates Cyberweek, along with the "big brothers" of the university team of the Polytechnic (Tower Of Hanoi) who will compete in the "professional" competition.
