The National Institute of Informatics (NII) has launched the second call for FY2025 of its International Internship Program at the Tokyo campus. The initiative is open to Master’s and PhD students from partner institutions with which NII has signed a Memorandum of Understanding, including Politecnico di Milano, with the aim of strengthening international scientific and academic collaboration.
Internships will begin after March 15, 2026. Each institution may nominate up to two candidates, with the possibility of extending to four if funding from the partner institution is confirmed, for example through Erasmus+. Complete applications must be submitted by October 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM (Japan time). The results of the selection will be announced from late November 2025.
