Prof. Mara Tanelli from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering – Politecnico di Milano is among the Italian InspiringFifty 2024, the 50 most influential women in technology in Italy.
Prof. Tanelli's research activity has focused on the automotive and mobility fields, and more recently on Industrial Analytics, combining control-oriented techniques and data analysis in various industrial sectors, from Smart Manufacturing to Aerospace. She has authored over 200 scientific publications and worked on 25 industrial patents, most of them in collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and corporate partners.
InspiringFifty is a global initiative led by EQL:HER, with the aim of recognising and highlighting the role of women in STEM, increasing diversity in technology; the first Italian edition was held in 2018.
