Abstract
On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. in the "Emilio Gatti" Conference Room (Building 20), the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering - Politecnico di Milano will host Experience 5G-CRESCA, an event dedicated to exploring how 5G technology is transforming the landscape of connected innovation.
During the event, the 5G-CRESCA project will present the first results of its activities, including the deployment of a dedicated 5G campus network designed to enable eight advanced use cases across the fields of education, healthcare, industry, and digital services.
Participants will have the opportunity to hear directly from project partners about the project’s vision, objectives, and implementation strategy, and to experience live demonstrations showcasing the first operational use cases.
Supported by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) – Digital, 5G-CRESCA represents a major step forward in developing innovative, connected digital services within academic and research environments through the adoption of 5G technology.
The initiative brings together Vodafone Italia, Università degli Studi di Milano, MADE – Competence Center Industria 4.0, Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico, and the Violin Museum of Cremona, with the shared goal of creating a hybrid private 5G network across their campuses and facilities.
The event will conclude with a networking cocktail.
