Abstract
Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, the Aula Magna of the Politecnico di Milano will host the event “Applied Games – per l’educazione al patrimonio.”
The event is dedicated to the presentation of the PRIN Through the City project, which aims to develop and test an innovative methodology for heritage and local landscape education in secondary schools in Milan, Bolzano, and Genoa. The methodology is based on integrating digital technologies for the representation and narration of urban and peri-urban spaces. The project involves a team of researchers coordinated by Prof. Nicoletta Di Blas from the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering.
The event will provide an opportunity to discuss future perspectives and the potential of applied games in fostering new ways of understanding and interpreting the cultural values embedded in local landscapes.
During the event, participating schools and local partners will present their contributions, followed by a roundtable discussion with sector experts.
