ROSETEA Lab - Robotics Sensor Technologies for Environment and Agriculture

Activities
The RObotic SEnsors Technologies for Environment and Agriculture (ROSETEA) laboratory studies innovative methodologies and technologies to support the development of sustainable food production systems, and of resilient agricultural practices increasing productivity and production while reducing the environmental footprint.
The laboratory is located in the Cremona Campus (former Caserma Manfredini), a location that, thanks to the presence of big hangars, offers the possibility to host a mechanical shop, an electronic laboratory, and a big area, equipped with a motion tracking system, for indoor testing of UAVs and UGVs.
The main research activities are related to:
- modelling robots and agricultural machinery for dynamic simulation and control system design and validation
- autonomous navigation of UAVs and UGVs for agricultural application
- farm automation.
Service information
The laboratory is located in the Cremona Campus (via Sesto 39/41).
