Innovation Design Contest 2017
Two DEIB students were awarded at the Innovation Design Contest 2017, an electronic design competition organized by the “Selezione di Elettronica” magazine.
The first prize went to Lorenzo Mezzera who developed the project "Smart Pipe - Miniaturized wireless water quality monitoring platform in real-time" under the supervision of prof. Marco Carminati, in particular developing an innovative impedance sludge sensor for water distribution networks. Third place for Andrea Ragni, PhD student under the supervision of prof. Giorgio Ferrari, with the "Electronic Raman Spectroscopy Cancer Analysis System" implemented within the VIBRA project, coordinated by prof. Dario Polli of the Department of Physics.
