Federico Reghenzani, PhD, is a researcher (assistant professor) at the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria (DEIB) since 2023.
His main research interests include embedded systems, focusing on real-time computing and safety-critical systems, and resource management for high-performance computing.

In 2021, he received the PhD cum Laude in Information Technology from Politecnico di Milano, with a thesis entitled “Beyond the Traditional Analyses and Resource Management in Real-Time Systems”. He has been a visiting researcher at Office National d'Etudes et de Recherches Aérospatiales (France) and University of Central Florida (USA).
He is currently working on several research projects, including EU-funded and industrial projects. He is responsible for the collaboration with the European Space Agency on mixed-criticality and fault-tolerant systems for spacecraft computers. Federico is a member of ACM and IEEE and he participates in the IEEE Functional Safety Standard Committee (FSSC).
