Fabio Antonacci was born in Bari (Italy) in 1979. He received Laurea degree (cum laude) in 2004 in Telecommunication Engineering and Ph.D. in Information Engineering in 2008, both at Politecnico di Milano, Italy.
He is currently assistant professor at Politecnico di Milano. His research focuses on space-time processing of audio signals, for both speaker and microphone arrays (source localization, acoustic scene analysis, rendering of spatial sound) and on modeling of acoustic propagation (visibility-based beam tracing).
He is author of more than 60 articles in proceedings of international conferences and on peer-reviewed journals.
