Dario Natali was born in Bergamo in 1975. In 2000 he took the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering with honors from the Politecnico di Milano. In 2004 he received the Ph. D. degree in Information Technology with honors from the Politecnico di Milano. He was awarded the Chorafas Foundation Prize for his Ph. D. thesis. From 2004 to 2006 he was the recipient of a Post-Doc Research grant.
From 2006 to 2015 he was Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria. Since 2015 he is Associate Professor at Politecnico di Milano, Department of Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria.
His research interests lie primarily in the field of plastic and flexible electronics, with focus on the development, characterization, modelling and simulation of organic optoelectronic devices and systems, also by means of scalable, printing techniques.
He is coauthor of more than 60 papers on international peer-reviewed journals, more than 10 conference international proceedings, 4 book chapters and two patents. He is co-founder of a startup operating in the field of flexible photovoltaics for IoT (RibesTech).
