Sonia Tabasum is a PhD candidate in Bioengineering at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) Politecnico di Milano.
She holds an M.Phil. in Biochemistry from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, where she graduated with highest honors (A+ Grade) and specialized in enzyme kinetics, bioactivity assays and microbial biochemistry. Her multidisciplinary research background in biomedical sciences and clinical diagnostics, with an established track record of peer-reviewed publications. Her current doctoral work at DEIB focuses on the Dynamic Multi compounded Kinetic Modeling of Albumin-Uremic Toxin Dissociation, where she is developing an advanced biochemical transport architecture designed for personalized hemodialysis optimization and sarcopenia mitigation. Leveraging advanced laboratory techniques to deliver translational engineering solutions for precision medicine.
