Alice Carli is a Project Manager Officer at Politecnico di Milano, where she supports research and innovation activities across the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) and the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering (DIG). She is involved in the management of national and European research projects, including initiatives funded under Horizon Europe, the Digital Europe Programme, and Italian ministerial calls, with a particular focus on Quantum Computing and High Performance Computing, emerging digital technologies, and digital innovation.
After completing a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpreting for Business and Management from the Faculty of Linguistic and Cultural Mediation in Perugia, she continued her studies with a Master's degree in International Strategies and Diplomacy from Paris–Panthéon-Assas Université (France), during which she also completed the Notre Europe Academy programme in European Affairs at the Institut Jacques Delors.
Her research interests focus on digital innovation, emerging technologies, research and innovation management, science and innovation policy, and the governance of technological transformation. She is particularly interested in fostering interdisciplinary research and supporting the development of collaborative research and innovation ecosystems at both the national and European levels.
