Le Ma is a Ph.D. candidate jointly enrolled at Zhejiang University and Politecnico di Milano, where he conducts research with the i3Lab.
His research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, music and audio processing, and human–computer interaction. His work focuses on developing trustworthy intelligent multimodal musical systems and studying how music influences human emotions in applications such as digital health and interactive media. He has published in venues including IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing, AAAI, IJCAI, and ACM Multimedia.
