Joel Georgeous was born in Damascus, Syria, in 2001. She received her BSc. in Electrical Engineering in 2023, graduating with high distinction. She then completed her MSc. in biomedical engineering in 2025, where her thesis focused on CMOS sensor circuit design for non-invasive diabetes detection and monitoring. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Electronics Engineering, with her research centered on electronic circuit design for radiation detection in non-conventional operating conditions.
