Martina Doneda (she/her) was born in Milan, Italy, in 1996. She was the first graduate of the M.Sc. in Engineering and Management for Health of the University of Bergamo, graduating in July 2020 with full marks and honours. Since 2020, she is a collaborator of the Institute for Applied Mathematics and Information Technologies “E. Magenes” of the National Research Council of Italy (IMATI-CNR), mainly developing frameworks to improve the management of blood donation. Since November 2021, she is enrolled in the IT PhD program at the Politecnico di Milano. Her research activity mainly focuses on the use of operations research and machine learning techniques to manage healthcare services.
