Marta Lagomarsino was born in Genoa (Italy) in 1996. She received the BD in Biomedical Engineering in 2018 and the MD in Robotics Engineering in 2020, both with honours from the University of Genoa.
Since November 2020, she is pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano in the Neuroengineering and Medical Robotics Laboratory (NearLab). She is working in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) at the Human-Robot Interfaces and Physical Interaction (HRI2) laboratory, under the supervision of Dr. Arash Ajoudani and Prof. Elena De Momi.
Her research mainly focuses on monitoring human intentions in mixed human-robot industrial environments and improving cognitive ergonomics.
