Federico Lipparini was born in Bologna, Italy, in 1970. He received the MSEE in 1998 from the Department of Electronics, Informatics and Systems Engineering of the University of Bologna. Over the past twenty years, Federico has held several key executive positions in marketing, sales and engineering for some of the worldwide leader Test & Measurement companies in the USA. He has worked for LeCroy Corporation, Tektronix, Centellax, Synthesis Research and Picosecond Pulse Lab. He currently holds the positions of Director of Product Marketing and corporate strategy for Micram Microelectronic GmbH and Vice President of Engineering and Co-Founder of for SmarTest.
Since November 2019, he has been enrolled as a Ph.D. student in Information Technology at Polytechnic of Milano. His main research interests are in the area of research and development in electrical high speed NRZ and PAM signal generators/analyzers for 100G and 400G optical coherent and data center solutions.
