In October 2021, he completed his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, specializing in Electrical and Electronic Measurements.
In November 2021, Sina began his PhD at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) at Politecnico di Milano, focusing on data‑driven analysis for anomaly detection in smart energy metering infrastructures.
Since September 2022, he has also contributed to tutoring and integrated teaching activities for several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of electrical and electronic measurements.
Alongside his doctoral research, between November 2024 and October 2025 he also served as a research assistant at the Department of Energy (DENG), where he developed automated testbenches and data‑driven methodologies for sustainable mobility applications, with particular emphasis on correlating driving behavior with energy consumption of electric vehicles (EVs).
Sina graduated cum laude with his PhD in May 2025 and continued his research activities at DEIB, advancing techniques and methodologies for electric energy measurement in both residential and industrial environments.
In November 2025, Sina began collaborating on the PEMS‑ML Erasmus+ European project, applying emerging machine learning techniques to develop personalized educational materials for measurement science.
His research interests include the application of modern statistical learning methods in instrumentation and measurement within the energy sector, metrology and uncertainty quantification, and the development of robust data infrastructures for remote testing and verification.
