Sina Ronaghi was born in Ahvaz, Iran, where he earned his B.Sc. degree in electric power engineering from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz in 2018.

In October 2021 he received his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Politecnico di Milano while working on the development and metrological characterization of wearable motion capture solutions based on Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs) for his thesis.

He started his Ph.D. at Politecnico di Milano since November 2021. Later in October 2022 he started collaborating as a tutor in the Department of Electronics, information and bioengineering (DEIB) at the same university. His research interests are metrology, machine learning, digital signal processing, and applied embedded systems development to implement data-driven methods for detection of residential energy meters inaccuracy.
