Anna Pelicci is a research fellow at the EI Lab. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Environmental and Land Planning Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2022 and 2025, respectively. Her work focuses on the impacts of climate variability and drought on hydropower systems in Africa, combining hydrological modeling with energy system analysis. She has also been involved in international clim ate policy processes under the UNFCCC. Her research interests include drought characterization, climate-resilient energy systems, and the integration of hydrological variability into energy planning models.
