Andrea Ticozzi was born in Verona, Italy, in 1996. After completing high-school studies in Verona, he moved to Milan and enrolled at Politecnico di Milano. In July 2018, he received the BSc degree cum laude in Automation Engineering.
During his MSc in Automation and Control Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, he spent one semester as an exchange student in Switzerland at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, where he deepened his studies in the fields of robotics and machine learning. Back in Milan, he graduated cum laude in October 2020; his master thesis concerned the development of automatic braking assistance systems for e-bikes.
In November 2020, he joined the mOve research group and enrolled in the PhD course in Information Technology, Systems and Control area, at Politecnico di Milano.
