Andrea Bonzi was born in Bergamo, Italy, on April 19th 1995. He received both the B.Sc. (2017) and M.Sc. (2020) Degrees in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, Italy, with a score of 110/110 and 110/110 cum laude, respectively. During his Master Degree and under the supervision of Prof. A. Gulinatti, he worked on a preliminary study of the integration of a Single-Photon Avalanche Diode in a waveguide. Since November 2020 he is a Ph.D. student in Information Technology at the Department of Electronics, Information and Bioengineering (DEIB) of Politecnico di Milano, Italy. His main research interests are related to single-photon detectors and applications.
